KAGAN COOPERATIVE STRATEGIES


1.      Debate
In this students were asked to form two groups. They were given topic for debate. I used this method to make student realize importance of topic friction.


2.    Talking chits
In this students were divided into two groups. And both groups were given equal number of chits. Teacher asks question. Any member of the groups who keeps the chit first on the table will get a chance to answer. Any team that finishes maximum number of chits is the winner.



3.    Examine your classmates.
This game was played row wise. All students were given same study material. And they were asked to form a 10 question (row wise) on the topic which was given in study material. And then one student from each row was picked to ask the questions for other rows. The team that answers maximum number of questions is the winner.
